Workshop Description
This interactive exercise, led by the Ottawa Dialogue, invites participants to step into the role of women peacebuilders as we navigate a scenario relating to women’s inclusion in peace processes. The exercise aims to build understanding of the complexities of gender roles, patriarchal attitudes and societal biases on the 4 pillars of UNSCR 1325 and the broader Women Peace and Security agenda.
The session draws on Ottawa Dialogue’s work in dialogue and mediation processes around the world. Grounded in real-world experience, this session fosters ways to develop trauma informed, and inclusive approaches to peacebuilding.
